The image today is an artist’s conception of a launch from the Dyna-Soar program. Another image is included of possible Dyna-Soar stack configurations. After the contracts were awarded in 1959, the Titan launch vehicle was upgraded to a Titan III in 1961. The program was canceled on December 10, 1963.
