The photos today are from the MA-9 mission and include the launch of Mercury-Atlas 9, a photo of astronaut L. Gordon Cooper and an image of Tibet taken by Cooper during one of his 22 orbits of Earth. MA-9 (Faith 7) was last Mercury mission.
