Center for Colorado Women’s History Museum Tour

May 4 @ 11:30 am 12:30 pm

This will be a docent-led tour of the Center for Colorado Women’s History Museum.

The Center for Colorado Women’s History is located within a historic home built in 1883 and lived in residentially by predominantly women over ninety years. After undergoing many renovations across decades, the home was donated to History Colorado in 1981 and restored to the World War I era through almost entirely original artifacts.

Operating as the Center for Colorado Women’s History since 2018, the museum offers a snapshot of the lives of Colorado women throughout time. Themes on the Women’s History Tour include the experiences of Colorado women pre-statehood, suffrage, class history with a focus on domestic work, World War I, the Arts and Crafts Movement, and women artists in Colorado.

Lunch: Lunch is not included and is on your own.
