
MARS Associates invites you to an authentic German luncheon on Tuesday, April 15 at Helga’s Haus & Bier Garden (click for map and directions), 14197 E. Exposition Ave. Aurora City Square. The doors will be opened at 11:00 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. A CASH BAR will be available prior to the luncheon. The menu choices will be:
Pork Jager Schnitzel – Tender pieces of pork rolled in flour covered with a hunter’s sauce, diced sweet peppers and red wine, and topped with golden onions and mushrooms. Served with Potato Salad and Red Cabbage.
Beef Sauerbraten – Beef roast marinated for one week with wine, sugar, vinegar and spices then braised in a sauce created from the marinade. Served with Kroketten (fried potato dumplings) and Red Cabbage.
Traditional Chicken Schnitzel -Tender chicken breast dipped in egg batter rolled in bread crumbs and served on a bed of brown sauce. Served with Spätzle and Red Cabbage.
Bratwurst Platter – One Smoked and One Veal Bratwurst char-broiled over live coals. Served with Sauerkraut and Potato salad (Gluten free)
Lunch will include appetizer, entrée, non-alcoholic beverage, coffee, tea, and dessert. Please specify your choice of entrée(s) when you make your reservation.
