1964 – MM Titan II development problems considered resolved in support of Gemini program

2017- LAUNCH: WGS 9, ULA Delta 4M+(5,4), LC37B, CCAFS

Earth-Monitoring and Civil Weather Satellite programs:

1955: President Eisenhower is briefed on the program to orbit a satellite for the International Geophysical Year.  The project became known as Project Vanguard.
