Human Spaceflight:

1977 – ALT-6, Captive Inert Flight #3, Enterprise Shuttle/Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, Dryden Research Center, Edwards AFG – 26,000 feet. Approach and Landing Test program. 

Military and Classified Programs:

1963 – USAF announces contract to MM for development of standardized Titan III launch vehicles

1964 – LAUNCH: Classified mission, GD Atlas/Lockheed Agena D, SLC4W, VAFB 

1965 – LAUNCH: Lockheed Corona 92, Thor SLV-2A/Lockheed Agena D, SLC3W, VAFB – MILESTONE: 60 years ago

1978 – LAUNCH: Classified mission, MM Titan 34B, SLC4W, VAFB

Exploration and Interplanetary Programs:

1969 – LAUNCH: Mariner 6, GD Atlas SLV-3C/Centaur, LC36B, CCAFS – successful flyby of Mars on 7/31/1969

1966 – LAUNCH (2): Lockheed Polaris A2, SSBN625, ETR
