Human Spaceflight:

Military and Classified Programs:

1959 – Dyna-Soar development plan released and it will use a three step approach: 1) Suborbital glider tests using a Titan ICBM booster; 2) Orbital tests using a larger Titan IIIC booster; 3) Operational weapons system – MILESTONE: 65 years ago

1964 – LAUNCH: Lockheed Corona 88, Thor SLV-2A/Lockheed Agena D, SLC1W, VAFB – MILESTONE: 60 years ago

1966 – LAUNCH: Classified mission, GD Atlas SLV-3/Lockheed Agena D, SLC4E, VAFB

1967 – LAUNCH: Lockheed Corona 121, Thorad SLV-2G/Lockheed Agena D, SLC1E, VAFB

1978 – SAMSO held a successful critical design review of MM Titan 23D structural systems

Exploration and Interplanetary Programs:

2002 – Successful fly-by of Asteroid 5535 Annefrank by LM Stardust spacecraft

Earth-Monitoring and Civil Weather Satellite programs:
