We’d like to plan a hike on Monday, October 7 to Roxborough Park. We will take the South Rim and Willow Creek Loop Trail, a 2.8 mile hike. It’s rated as a moderate trail and you can take a look at it on Alltrails, South Rim and Willow Creek Loop Trail, Colorado – 1,897 Reviews, Map | AllTrails. We will start at the Roxborough Park visitors center as a group. We will then follow the hike with lunch at JPs Asian Bistro, 8351 N Rampart Range Rd Littleton, CO 80125. Plan is to meet in the trail head parking lot at 9:30 am, followed by lunch at 11:30. This hike is a Colorado State Park so a park pass is required. If you bought a park pass as part of your vehicle registration it will show on your registration card. You can also buy a day pass at the park. Please RSVP by October 4, and include if you would like to join for lunch. Thanks!

Post Hike Report
The MARS hiking group met October 7 for a beautiful fall day in Roxborough State Park. There were amazing views along the South Rim and through Willow Creek. The trails we took were 2.8 miles and gained an elevation of 465 ft. This trail is described as offering the best views in the park and did not disappoint. The hike was followed by lunch at JPs Asian Bistro, a familiar place to many of us from our days at the Waterton Facility. It was a great walk and lunch with good friends!
