1966 – LAUNCH: Gemini X, MM Titan II/GLV, LC29, CCAFS – John Young, Mike Collins – successful rendezvous and docking with the Agena

1962 – LAUNCH: Classified mission, GD Atlas/Lockheed Agena B, SLC3W, VAFB

The photos today are from the Gemini X mission in 1966, which launched on this day (two launches).  They include the launch of the crew on Titan/Gemini, the launch of Atlas/Agena D with the target vehicle, the crew of Gemini X (John Young, Mike Collins) and a view of the Agena D firing to boost the orbit of Gemini X.   The mission duration was 2 days, 22 hours and included 2 EVAs (stand-up, tether).
