1962 – MM submits a plan for testing the malfunction detection system for the Titan II/GLV (Gemini)

1970 – Shuttle Program Phase B contracts for preliminary designs were released to industry teams led by McDonnell Douglas/Martin Marietta and Rockwell International/General Dynamics

Military and Classified Programs:

1964 – LAUNCH: Classified mission, GD Atlas/Lockheed Agena D, SLC4W, VAFB – MILESTONE: 60 years ago

1985 – LAUNCH: Lockheed Trident C-4, SSBN735, ETR
