The photos today are from two events. First, there is a photo of the DSP-1 Block 14 F17 spacecraft launch on a Titan IVA/402 (IUS) in 1994. Second there is a photo of the black Mark IV monorail built by Martin Marietta and delivered to Walt Disney World in 1974. This was the last Mark IV monorail built by MM.
Also of note on this date – GE reacquired RCA in 1985 and Martin Marietta acquired GD Space Systems in 1993; earlier in 1993 they acquired the GE/RCA Space Systems portion of GE.
